Chicago, Ghita and all things sweet!

Happy 4th of July!..a day after. I hope you did fill up on some good food/fireworks. Anyways I promised to return with a blog about Chicago and one of my favorite labels, Ghita by Alexis Phifer. Chicago I went to the Windy city to see one of my best friends and shout out to her for making sure I had a wonderful time. 1 star out of 5 for her..lol. If you have never been, you have to at some point. Wherever you are, out of the US, make it your stop on the way in; within the US, look for a cheap ticket on a weekend. What I did like about the place was the downtown scene, from the shopping street corners with designers like Coach, Armani, Louis Vuitton and more to the food....ah the food, the pizza was awesome, best ever and I am so not a pizza-eating person but they won me over! Lots to do and for that I give the city of Chicago 4 stars out of 5. Ghita This label was launched by Alexia Phifer in 2005 and has since seen a growth in popularity and availability. Back to doing what I love

Hi Everybody I have loved writing ever since I can remember. That's partly why I started this blog. But as life happens, we often get carried away by the troubles and schedules of life, and eventually we forget our first love. Next, we worry. Bout what to write, when to write it and how to write it. Then we worry bout who will read it, who will appreciate it, who will validate it. Atleast these happened to me. I was never happy at how I abandoned one of my greatest loves-writing-so unceremoniously. I was too ashamed to return especially cos everytime I tried to start I was weighed down by guilt and the silent loneliness in the blog. Many times my sister would say "blog about whatever it is you love, you can't go wrong with being honest, you don't have to go celebrity blogging cos its popular, do you" And finally, I'm here to do what I love. Blog Challenged-there is such a thing!

Ok I have been a blogger for a little over a year and today I am wondering why no one ever told me about 'following' a blog. I only just found out today cause prior to today I used to check out my favorite blogs everyday waiting on 'thought provoking' posts! But today it all changed! There is such a thing as blog-illiterate but today I was reeducated! Now if only I could figure out how to put them on my blog?! Help, anyone?! UPDATE: I figured it out! peace, love and fabulousness.
